Becca Kelly loves New Orleans, great company, art on her walls, classic cocktails, a great pair of jeans, her husband, and her hilarious brood - though not in that order.

Her life as a creative has taken her on a journey of endless discovery that has led her here—helping couples dream up beautiful and truly fun wedding days and writing down everything she learns along the way.
‍
After years in the field, Becca continues to be endlessly inspired by what creative couples and industry pros bring to the table. Her own professional experience (since 2014) has made her a ninja at logistics. She has witnessed more than 100 ceremonies and still gets the butterflies during a couple's first look, kiss, and dance.

Almost every weekend you can find Becca's team managing events all over New Orleans. They thrive in unusual venues and unconventional spaces.

Kyo

Lead Coordinator

Kyo has been with BKco since day one. Consider her the reliable second in command, always helping steer this ship smoothly to shore. In addition, she’s a self-described enthusiast of “all things woo-woo.” This is New Orleans, after all.

Laurel

Office Adiministrator

Laurel’s favorite part about her job is twofold: “Events get everyone together in one place. Friends and family often live all over the map, but events bring everyone together. It’s an absolute dream. Also, those tiny floor plan couches are adorable."

Demetria

Venue Manager

Demetria enjoys working in the field of events and gaining on-the-ground insights. Each day on the job, she is excited about expanding her knowledge of the hospitality industry. Everything she gleans goes towards expanding her catering business, so she's got her eye on your buffet!

Jessica

Lead Coordinator

Jessica has a philosophy about her line of work. There’s an “individuality in sameness,” she says. “In general, you can expect a certain timeline or chain of events—but each event is going to be specific and special in the end. No event is ever the same.”.

Brandi

Associate Designer

Brandi brings her designer’s eye to your day. Events are one thing, but as a New Orleanian, she knows that dancing in costume to live brass bands is a way of life. Plus, she’s the team’s resident choir geek who performed at Carnegie Hall.

Summer

Coordination Assistant

Summer loves the mingling, social element of working events. “I get to interact with clients to make sure their day is amazing,” she says. “Just seeing the looks on client’s faces when everything is over and done with is the icing on the cake for me.”

BKco was established in 2019 to help couples produce high quality events that reflect their unique bond. Our specialties range from Day-of or Month-of Planning to design consultation, floor plan construction and vendor recommendations.

The company was conceived in New Orleans and it shows. We are deeply influenced by the colors, sounds, vibes, and magic of this incredibly alluring city and are committed to matching talented New Orleans' vendors with adoring couples.

Today, weddings have become an avenue for couples to not only bring their friends and family together in the traditional way, but also to celebrate their personalities, customs, culture, & perspective. We’ll work with you to cultivate every aspect so that your event becomes a favorite memory of all your guests.
